I live literally in the woods on a large lot with a creek running through the property. I tested it on a 68° night during a thunderstorm on the porch. I had it fully vented. I had a very thin fleece throw as a TQ and didn't use it until about 5am. We have some 61° nights coming up at the end of the week. I'll test it again but I think this is going to take me to at least 40° with a good TQ.
Here is the link to the DIY section where I posted pics.

Glad to see you are testing your gear. Too many times, new hangers omit this step and when they get out in the field they often find out the hard way that things don't always work the way they should. Ask PappyAmos about the father and son he came across while he was back packing that were setting up their hammocks for the night.

This might just become the new Smoked Butt Hang as we just got new wheels for our grill/smoker and plan to bring it. Should be able to smoke 6 butts at one time and still have the top rack available for smaller stuff. Even got some Apple wood to use in the smoker. Now the question becomes....pulled pork or chopped pork ?

1 vote for pulled!
I vote for both

Gunner and PappyAmos, I’m starving already.
I’m trying to drop a little weight—inspired by Tacoma—he was not a wide body before—think he dropped about 20 pounds.
Now I eat one meal a day whether I’m hungry or not. I’ll be on break at Medoc—there I’ll be preparing for world wide famine by eating a little bit of smoked BBQ.
I’ll have one small hog, please.
I might bring some meat to smoke on your grill. And I might bring some real wood charcoal.
Possibly will arrive Thursday with no food and make a run to local grocery while exact needs
are fresh on my mind.
I have combined Kokomo with Kookabura Suspension. First used at John Rock.
Still working out the finer points—mainly setup time. I was tarred after toting my gear up that mountain.
Maybe at Medoc setup time can be reduced.
I’m off some of my heart medication—it was slowing everything down—now I feel more energetic—as I’m walking more now.
If a suspension setup takes too long—-that is an
indicator for Not Much Ease of Use.
K&K Suspension has:
No Knots!
No Hardware!
Will Not Slip!
Will Not Jam!
I’m stoked and look forward to swapping lies
and drinking coffee with y’all hammockers at Medoc!

I had a cardiac ablation Aug 6. I'm just now getting back to normal and looking forward to getting even better.
I have a 3 Qt coffee pot and plan on making plenty of cowboy coffee all day. I'm talking the kind you can chew while you're lying.
