There's still plenty of time to make some plans to go out into the Florida Piney woods for some sweaty hanging with a bunch of other great folk. Come on out to the "No Underquilt Hang" next weekend.

You can make it a short ~2.5 mile hike, little longer ~3.5 mile hike or even a nice ~5.5 mile hike.

Hanger name: Where parking(in case others want to follow you in), what day(s) attending, time of arrival. Let the planning begin.

    1) Floridahanger: Hidden Pond Short, Sat-Sun, late afternoon(6-7pm)
    2) Blueskycat: Hidden Pond Short, Sat-Sun, late afternoon(6-7pm)
    3) Mark8408: Hidden Pond Short, Fri-Sun, 6ish pm
    4) double tap: Hidden Pond Short, Fri-Sun, 6ish pm
    5) O-Boy: Pat's Island, Fri-Sun, 9-10a
    6) j-Fish: Hidden Pond Short, (Fri)Sat-Sun, (Fri evening possible)sometime in am
    7) Cooloz91: Hidden Pond Short, Fri-Sun, 9a-12p(almost AC repairman/cable guy timing)
    8) Gravy: Hidden Pond Short, Fri-Sat, morning
    9) Life Scout: Pat's Island, Fri-Sun, Late night (probably in the rain and using up all their batteries)
    10) C+1: Pat's Island, Fri-Sun, Late night (and walking face first into spider webs)
    11) juanchoman: Hidden Pond Short, Sat-Sun, early morning
    12) richtorfla: "the trailhead", Sat-Sun, morning
    13) "the boy": "the trailhead", Sat-Sun, morning
    14) deerhunter: "the trailhead", Sat-Sun, morning
    15) zukiguy: Pat's Island, Sat-Sun, evening

Gravy changed his arrival date from Thursday back to Friday in case anyone was thinking about going in early.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Not unless there's a gaggle of other kids there. They'll be kind of bored sitting around listening to all the hammock nerds. My oldest one is a mosquito magnet too. He could end up with a bite walking around the mall.

Anyone heading out today? Blueskycat is unable to make it so I'll be arriving Fri evening instead of Saturday. Save me a spot next to the fire. See yall tomorrow.

Looks like a strong possibility of having 15 or so folk join in. I've only been informed of only 1 person not able to make it.

Also, I've started the trip report for this hang found in the.....Trip Report section. Please use this for ongoing pictures while at camp. And of course, your awesome stories.

    See yall tomorrow.

Looks like some vehicle maintenance, home projects, and other family commitments are putting my weekend camping in a bind. I'm gonna try and slide out to the piney woods but don't be surprised if you don't see me there. Better luck with the "last gasp" hang....

Floridahanger: It looks like I may be one of the first ones there, if so, I know where you like to hang, so I'll try and reserve it for you!
