hot this weekend - skip underquilt?

looking to be about 70 at night sat night, going to be hanging.
that's HOT for upstate NY. think i can get by without an UQ? never even considered it before, so have no experience.
Prob gonna have a super light blanket or sheet on top, just because i need some sort of cover

I sleep inside every night with an underquilt up until around 70 deg. Anything less can be chilly, for me.

I've slept with overnight lows of 75* F with a 40* UQ - never considered not using the UQ.

I will kick off the TQ if it's too hot.

I have used thermolite reactor from STS above 70's.
You can use some thermal baeelayers too or add a torso length car sun shade, although I never used them in this situation.
    Have a nice hang, Sir!

I was in East Tennessee last week where it was 70 overnight. Just had yoga mat underneath and fleece sleeping bag liner on top. Was just right.

Better bring an uq, 70 at 4 in the morning is cold, and if it unexpectedly drops 5 degrees or more, you'll be more than a little uncomfortable...

I agree with the above. Take it and vent it.
