ridge line

hi all I have a 10ft hammock and I want to put a ridge line on it what length should it be. can anybody help thanks

100 Inch end to end would be the length you want for your RL on a 10-foot hammock.

10-foot hammock is 120" long, 83% (the standard for RL length) of 120" is 99.6"....so 100" just to make it a round number easy to figure splicing with.

You might consider making an adjustable ridgeline initially until you figure out exactly what length is best for you. I personally prefer about 2 inches longer than 83% on my 11'er.

That's what I did with my ENO SL and replaced the ropes by CL's too.
