    Unfortunately i've been dealing with serious health issues that has kept me out of the woods. For now i have to live vicariously through other folks. I pretty much live in the woods and plan, hopefully, to set up the hammock at the river in front of my place for a bit of afternoon nap time. I'm hoping to get well and get back out on the trail at some point. In the mean time you keep on keepin on.

    Thanks Shug. Always like your stuff. I need to be shopping a new camera. I have a document with camera ideas....and then I messed up the SD card it was stored on so had no idea what you were using recently.

    So i watched pt2 today. Just seems like yesterday you were sayin you were 55 which means i was 63. Your doing good shug at 60.
    I find it a bit odd to camp around other people. Being in the woods is a spiritual experience for me and being by myself seems to drive home that feeling altho once and a while i'll camp with my musical buddies, mostly hammockers as well .
    Ha ha, only being recognised once as shug, tough on an entertainer, (-; (-;
    Whatever you have going on with your surgeon i wish you the best outcome. Good luck on your up and coming gigs and i noticed i've lost your postal address when i switched computers so you may see a request from me for it, a little something i'd like to send you, if that's ok.
    Be well buddy

    Nicely done Shug.

    I really need to get to Minnesota one year. I imagine fall is a good time to hike there.

    Wow, been away for some time and glad I got to see the new hike. With our lows in the mid 70's and only after the daily afternoon thunderstorms, it's sure nice to see your still in the 40's. Ooooh, to be in the 40's.

    Thanks for the trip report, it helped me to get motivated for our upcoming July hang.
    Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

    I absolutely cannot believe those green tents! Proximity alert in sector 7!!!

    This is a state park, so no off-trail camping I assume?

    Not a State Park there but I was first in camp. Also it is a designated multi group campsite. Expected it to happen. They like you to stay at established camps if at all possible. Lots of private land the SHT runs through.
    I gotta remember not to backpack on Saturdays!!!!!
