    Which Dutch Netless?

I'm new here. Found an Eno Singlenest with Atlas straps on my local CL for cheap, so I have been playing with that. I can see it's limitations, and visualize it as a campground accessory, or around the house lounger. I can't get a good diagonal lay in it. I'm interested in a Dutch netless as a next hammock, and wonder if I need the wide version. I'm 5'10" and 165. Car camping, no long carry.
Also, which fabric is preferable? How about the 30.00 sale hammocks? anyone have one? thanks for the help, tk

The 30.00 hammock body is great.i think I have one. But I am not sure. I have seen them and they are wonderful. Just need to buy suspension and other bits and pieces. Dutch has straps and whoopie and continuous loops pretty decent priced. They are much more comfortable than an eno or any of the other 30 buck hammocks you are gonna get.

It is literally just a basic hammock body, no cl or suspension, if you dont add anything to it it comes ziptied together. I think there is a 45.00 option too

Newbie question; if it comes ziptied together, does one remove the ziptie and run a loop of cordage thru it? Thanks for the help, tk

Nevermind; that is what the CL is for. duh. The one on my Eno is a knotted thing.

I'm 5'11" and 165 and have been using the regular Dutch Netless for 4 or 5 years. I don't think you need a wide. A $30 Netless in Argon 1.6 should be fine. I'm not too keen on 1.0 hammocks - not durable enough. I have both Hexon 1.6 and Argon 1.6 and can't tell much difference, but I'm not that sensitive to stretch. If anything, I like less stretch. My favorite netless hammock is the Dutch PolyD 1.4 hammock, but Dutch no longer offers it. However, HammockGear is now selling PolyD 1.4 for $42.

You probably don't need a wide hammock, but I think more width is nice to have, since you can lie far away from the edges.

As for the $30 hammocks, just be aware that the Argon 1.6 has quite a bit more stretch than the Hexon 1.6. Some people like stretch, but many don't. The True Timber 2.0 probably has less stretch and might be a better option if you don't know what you like/need, yet.
