UGQ Winterdream pole mods

I see the UGQ winterdream has center pole mod options and also end pole mod options. I recently purchased this tarp with both options and am about to see what is the best pole setup to use. Can you use both center and end mods at the same time? If not is one more preferable than the other? Anyone have any pictures of their tarp setup with either of these pole mods? Also, the poles on UGQ's website seem pricey. Has anyone used any other manufacturer's poles?

Don't know about center mod by i made end pole mods for myself and a friends UGQ WD12 tarps using Weanas 11'3" poles:

Worked great, using the stock split rings already on the WD12, just put a little gorilla tape near end of each pole tip to stop it from passing all the way threw the split rings and some bungie and a carabiner to clip the pole to the tarp ends and your done for basically 20$."

I am pretty sure you can indeed use end poles and center poles simultaneously. It’s probably overkill though unless it’s car camping or heavy snow. I have the end pole mods on a Hanger 12 (standard width) and the poles (made by UGQ) in an AHE pole bag weigh 15.1 oz. The little bits that are sewn on the tarp are small and probably only add an oz or two, I’m guessing.

I only got end pole mod with my WD 12. Center poles were not in stock when I ordered.
I set it up in the yard and will 'test' it this next week.

Semi porch mode in ANF. I like end pole mods because they keep the tarp away from the spreader bar tips.
