Welcome from South Tulsa County! Lots of info here, and good people. Maybe one day there’ll be enough Okies that are motivated enough to organize and attend a hang...

Welcome from South Jersey. Be warned, days of your life will disappear as you absorb the info here in the Forums. Try to find a group hang near you to attend and meet some like minded folks. Happy Hangin'

Welcome from a fellow Okie an organized hang would be a lot of fun.
hello and welcome from TX
i'm from Tulsa, and got my first camping hammack in 2004. Welcome to the forum and thumbs up to the OK group hang idea.
The easiest way to get up to speed is to watch Shug's Hammock 101 videos. He does a good job, but he makes me groan with some of his shenanigans (like juggling burning chain saw blades, sigh!)
I learned a lot from Hansen's book "The Ultimate Hang". There is the new edition, "The Ultimate Hang II". but I still like the first edition a lot. If you can find a copy on Ebay, get it.
Thanks.
