    Yes, that's what I would probably do if I wanted to change my lay direction permanently. If I wanted to flipflop and would care about the Knotty mod, I would simply add two more mods.

    From day one, I flipped the hammock and just slid the CL's around to the opposite side. Excellent lay, and I've since added a snipe and nite owl as well. Lay in the all head right feet left. I'm going to sell the nite owl as the fabric is just too much for my tastes, but no issues comfort wise. When I flip it back the other way I don't notice any difference. HYOH for sure!
