Usually I’d not ask anyone who is already there to move their camp.
Probably ok to let them know that 15 to 25 hammock campers will camp here this weekend.
One year, our whole camp was already set up and
after dark an entire scout troop set up camp in extreme close proximity to our fire ring.
Someone spoke with them and the scout troop did not move. In the morning our cohosts re- explained about our noisy campfire conversation up to midnight. The scouts were cool and moved their camp up the trail and everything worked out fine.
Yes Kevin and I went and talked to the scout leaders and they had there scouts move after we explained the situation.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

Does anyone remember if a 3 wheel Sherpa or a 4 wheel cart can make it up Cat Gap Loop to Enchanted Forest.
I’m gonna backpack, and some are thinking of wheels. Please help me remember
    Thanks

It would be a challenge on the footbridges. I have towed full coolers (two wheels) and it sucked. Hot lips and Kingsford brought a four wheeled cart a few years ago, but I think they had some help along the way. Multiple trips is my preferred method.

Slugger, thanks, this will help people decide that are thinking of 3 or 4 wheels. Possible though high degree of difficulty and not recommended though not forbidden...

WARNING! If your Sawyer filter has frozen at any time don't use it. Mine is totally stopped up and I have only used it once. After all of our winter campouts mine has surely frozen at some point.. I can't even blow through it. 20$ is worth safe water. We all have to go back to work soon after. Don't want any unnessary inconvienences.
