Oh no, there's big bad animals out there. They're gunna get me!

I am completely excited for the hang. I definitely need to pull out my hammock forum flag! It makes me wonder if that person is still making them for our members here. It's been years since I've shown it off.

Speaking of food stuffs, I've recently started sprouting again. I plan to bring a couple of varieties of sprouts. If anyone is interested, I suggest that you try out the moth beans. They are the most delicious, and wicked fast growing.

For anyone who's curious about Shug's Medaglio d'oro instant espresso, I am going to be bringing some along. I am completely NOT a coffee fan at all, but I make a really good drink out of this. I use dark chocolate hot cocoa, caramel hot cocoa, and warmed milk to make something that I think is delicious. I "might" have some carnation milk with me to make this with.

Also, I am definitely going to have my Yerba Mate tea with me. If anyone is interested, I will be having quite a few tea ceremonies. This is an ancient ceremony that provides a ton of health benefits. Think of an indian peace pipe ceremony, where they sit around a circle and smoke the pipe. This is the same thing, but people gather in a circle and drink this tea. There's a whole hubub around it. I fell in love with it before I knew of all of the health benefits ... but basically, it's a tea that will get you high. There's 3/4s the caffeiene of coffee, but you can go to sleep on it (because it's chemically different from caffeiene). This makes it good for people who have caffeine tolerance or sensitivity.

I have quite a few baking mixes that I picked up for cheap, I just don't know if I want to lug out my dutch oven to the site. I always have my backpacker oven foldup, and the two imusa cup baking methods. Would anyone be interested in some cake or cookies a few of the nights?

The hike in, is just enough to make me think about what all I’m gonna pack.
Do I value great food and creature comforts——
more than a pleasant hike up and back.
Where is my red headed Lady Sherpa Guide from Craig’s List?
What would SilvrSurfr do? Can Joey carry a backpack.
Not even knots can save me now.

You may need a Sherpa to help you with that.

I’m probably not going to be there until Thursday this year. Work is killing me. I still look forward to seeing everyone. Sorry that I am being a lousy co-host so far this year.
