One section of trail for about 3/8 of a mile is alittle challenging, just take a few breaks and enjoy the views and waterfall sounds.

Going to make an attempt at coming. I am 4 to 5 hours away, so it will depend on my work schedule that week. I dont want to hike in after dark

Yes I’ll be there Friday, CoffeeGirl will on an excursion with one her friends, and she won’t be there this year.
I plan on bringing precooked brawts and slaw for Saturday to compliment FireinmyBones chili.
And I’ll bring finest known to man or beast trail mix—-my own secret recipe.
And I will drink all your coffee.

Lol thank you. I actually know the area as we went there a year ago on our honey moon and i love brevard! I know exactly where the fish hatchery is at least. It's the trail that worries me as I have not done any back packing. I might need to pick all yalls brains on what to bring for a successful weekend!

If you are using a GPS and want to use an address
1401 Fish Hatchery Road, Pisgah Forest NC 28768
If your GPS doesn’t have address that way
Instead use Brevard NC and I’m guessing same zip code.
