Shoring up plans for our first trip to John Rock. This will be my third hang. Loving every single minute. Learning so much about this great hobby. Great alternative to tent camping, but now I'm feeling the replacement. I'll never go back! My husband Bill will be joining for this hang and newcomer Zach! My son is very excited about this weekend. Can't wait to see you all soon! More than willing to help out where needed. Already promised Tacoma96 help with hot dog named night!

After getting up there, I was tired and it was getting dark. So I enjoyed campfire and conked out for the night. That Saturday morning DimJim made lots of coffee for my thirst. And FoxPoop’s daughter cooked me a mountain house sausage and egg breakfast.

Enter Cat Gap Loop at end of parking lot nearest the buildings.

Great Jeff I should be there close to that time. My group would be more than happy to hike up with you.

Speaking of water, some people were interested in doing some future events out at my property. Not only is there a lake stocked with fish, but the water from my streams is the best water that I have ever tasted. I am not exaggerating here. It is delicious.
A few feet before the campsite you will cross over a small bridge with a stream. This stream runs along the left side of the campground with plenty of openings to get water. I always filter mine. I also use the stream to keep my drinks cool.
