Opinions from the masses on Robic 1.2 Streamliner?

Has anyone here had made a Streamliner out of Robic 1.2? Or that has experience separately with the Streamliner and Robic and would care to hazard a guess what that would be like (pros / cons)?

    Thanks everyone!

Your weight will play a big role in how it performs for you, so you should share that. At 145-150 lbs, I find the Robic 1.2 to be plenty strong enough. The Streamliner built with standard width 58” fabric might be a bit narrow feeling due to the cat cut sides. Using the wider Robic 1.2 XL will help with that. The curved sewn channels will make you lay a little less diagonal and gives it a bit of a bridge hammock like feel.

190 lbs. I was hoping that the 1.2 Robic would save me some weight over say the 1.6 Hexon that my Half-zipped is made from. (Not that it isn't a nice fabric, don't get me wrong).

I was interested in the Streamliner because I am not a fan of the "wall of fabric". I like the view I get from my RR and was hoping the Streamline would be similar. I was not thinking about the extra width, and almost think it will work opposite of my desire. Though using Robic 1.2 material at a more standard width would be doable I imagine.

I had a streamliner robic 1.2 . It’s a great lay between sag & support . Only thing that bothered me is the rip stop grid is very pronounced & you can feel it way more than a hyper d o hexon . I have 2 streamliner I’m about to sell but they are in 1.0 hexon, both burnt orange

Thanks for that. What material width did you get your Robic one in? Seems 1.2 comes pretty wide, but that defeats the light weight and clear views I was hoping for.

    I have a Robic 1.0 Streamliner. 6ft - 159lbs. I like it. YMMV.

How much does that end up weighing with loops and a ridgeline?

The robic was wider than my 1.0 hexon
