Inevitably, it seems Dutch has stepped into the world of haute couture with his trendy new Dutch Shorts.
Will Dutch Shorts be available in Print2Fabric patterns?

Any pattern to obscure my nappy knees would help.
Hmmm..... wheels are turning
"I wonder if anyone else has an ear so tuned and sharpened as I have, to detect the music, not of the spheres, but of earth, subtleties of major and minor chord that the wind strikes upon the tree branches. Have you ever heard the earth breathe... ?"

Dutchs shorts are calendered?
I've got an uncalendered pair from Luke. Bunch of hikers said the calndered got clammy and didn't breathe as well. I LOVE my uncalendered shorts.
The solid ones listed are made from Argon 90, presumably because they are light (33 grams), strong, comfortable, and packable. Black and blue are fast-drying, reasonably conservative, practical solid-color choices for Dutch to keep on the shelf, ready to ship. (Some other colors of Argon 90 may not afford as much modesty on laundry day...)
I would think a printed pair in Hexon 1.0 or 1.6, with its wonderful feel, would be just the ticket.
I think they key is to remember that these shorts seem to be designed as minimalist ancillary gear for thru-hikers, not as day-to-day trailwear.

P2F shorts are certainly on our list and if you'd like a pair now i'm sure we could work something out with a custom order if you shoot us an email.
Also, we use A90 for the shorts now and we haven't decided to stick with that or go with the ARGON 15D poly for the P2F. Either way, even though they're calendared fabrics they have a very good breath-ability rating and you shouldn't notice much if any "clammy" type feel.
