Boise/Reno Bound in Early August...HELP needed!

Help needed!!

Planning a road trip in early August. Hoping to camp the entire time. Need some expert advise/suggestions. Heading to Western Idaho first just outside the Boise area then off to outside the Reno area close to Fernley.

Prepared to ground dwell but definitely prefer to hang if possible!

Lots of places to hang and get away within a hour or so of Boise, the fair is in Garden city. Not allot of camping in the city. There is an RV park within a mile of the fair grounds.

Anywhere towards the western part of the state? Closer to Caldwell or Nampa area?

Google map Reynolds creek,Idaho not good for hammocks but has beautiful rock formations and tent camping

If there is car, truck or van for the road trip then that is one anchor point for your hammock and it moves so all you need is a second place to attach to a tree, post, sign, ect . If I was doing a road trip to a boulder zone or mountains made of rock I'd have two camalots ( climbing hardware) to make secure anchor points in all the cracks. You can use a sling on big rocks making your own points to hang too. Be creative and if you are car camping weight isn't a factor to bring a hammock stand and a big blue wally mart tarp and cover the stand and your ride. Enjoy! And thanks now I have trip envy. Boise and the rest of the Treasure Valley sit in a high desert. There are trees along the river in town but not many around the edges. No where to really camp in town. But drive an hour or so and your well up in the mountains and lots of camping both in established campgrounds and dispersed. I would sudgest looking at areas along hwy 21 north east of Boise or hwy 55 north from the west end of Boise. Both have campgrounds along them that would work. McCall is on 55 about 2 hours drive out of Boise with lots of camping, mountain streams and lakes to check out. Very scenic and a cool town with good food options.
