This effect will be less pronounced with a Fronkey-style bottom-entry design and more so with a full-enclosure zippered design.
Start with 7 yards of mesh and cut it in half to get two 126" X 54" panels; stack these and join the top edge with a French standing seam.

If you need more drop than 54", take each pair of right triangular scraps from your cutbacks and join their short edges with a flat-felled seam to yield two isosceles triangular panels approx. 108" long by 27" high. Invert, center, and join these two triangles to the bottom (short) edges of the trapezoid-shaped net with flat-felled seams as extensions. Trim your extended-drop bug net to an appropriate size and shape. You can simply continue the line of the cutbacks and square off the bottom (best for a Fronkey net) or you can trim to a circular, parabolic, or catenary arc.
Finish the sides and bottom of your net as appropriate to your application.

I've got a cheapo net coming from Amz this week for a friend to use [mebbe just this one time] up at the "Return To the Lake Hang" at Flagstaff.
It has the clips that you'd use with a third independent line strung just for the net. They are going to come off outta da box since almost all my "sleepers" have an FRL of one kind or another.
While I have it strung up for a permethrin treatment, I'll try to remember to do some measurements and stuff and add the info on here...

I picked up one from Amazon for $25. Brand is Astray. It is heavy, but fits up to a 12 foot hammock.

Easy to make and inexpensive. I modified it a little by adding extensions on both ends to make sure it covered the length of my ridgeline. I don't believe you would have any problem having it fit 120" ridgeline with the extensions. You just use the pieces that are cut off to make these - they are basically tubes sewn to the ends.
Also, I added a velcro seam on one side so it could be pulled back during the day if desired.
I have always been amazed how durable this material is as well. I have not had any problems with it standing up to some rough use.
Not too sure about weight after my mods - I can get one out and weigh it if interested.
Got me an Amazon special. Cheaper than rbtr's kit and no work involved. I will surely work with my ENO Dnest if it doesn't fit the 12.
I use a King Outfitters bug net I got off Amazon that fits my 12 footer just fine.
peeeeetey, Marty at WildernessLogics made a bugnet for my 12 x 6 hammock. I asked him to make it one foot longer than his standard bugnet and a foot bigger around. It works great.
