    I'm guessing a dutch clip will still work fine. Buckles not so much, but you don't need the buckle on the tree hugger if you're using a strap to reach the hammock.

    Dutch clips work on the Kevlar, but it's unusual to bunch that much fabric and expect it to hold when transporting. It wants to expand when untensioned. I just use caribiners

    If you can't wait for DUTCH (I would personally go with Dutch... He gave me fleas!!!!!) I have had real success with Arrowhead equipment in the past. I think their 2" is about 1/2 oz per foot. Worth a look anyway.

    Also, a CL joined with diamond or button knot (aka Evo loop per Jeff Myers) works as well as any piece of hardware.

    Here with a 1" Venom, but absolutely no reason it wouldn't work with 2" webbing
