Good to know. I found the same thing with the Xenon sil... And frankly any sil-whatever but two...
The Silpoly XL (which has a higher rating that the standard Silpoly) and the Silpoly PU4000. Neither of those have wetted out on me.
I have been looking for a camo Silpoly that will perform. It doesn't seem as though RBTR is going to produce such an animal, so I was thinking of moving to a Bushwack Superfly. But if it wets out like you say... guess I'll have to pony up for the Camo Palace from HG.

I'm not particularly drawn to camo either, but I like a pattern overhead if I'm stuck under the tarp for any length of time. It's more pleasing to my ocd than a solid color. The standard color also sticks out like a sore thumb in the woods.

I had one for just one trip and liked the pattern. Not blotchy or childish looking like some. Did a quick video to show the slight transparent-ness. Kinda wish I kept it, but needed doors.
I don't own a DCF tarp but one thing to consider is that I've heard that those DCF tarps can be like a snare drum in the rain.
Hanging in the woods, paddlin and catching trout- My kind of living...
