Remember the movie "Deliverance"? Go with the camo or earth tone option. There's a lot of crime/predation that goes on in state & national parks and recreational areas that is kept under wraps. If people knew some of the stuff that happens, they would not go camping, park revenues would decline, etc, etc so the "official" stats get tweaked to make them more palatable to the public.....Keeping a low profile is always a good idea.

The orange hammock l presume will give to differentiate an UQ of a different colour, this can have some merit.
A bush whacked camo UQ protector would conceal for enough required coverage to get you blended back into the foliage and the tarp will also have most of the hammock concealed.

Do you have any source for this? I have never seen any evidence that any serious type of crime is any more common at a park than anywhere else.

Oh no, there are lots of other options.... Get bitten by a snake, stung to death by yellow jackets, struck by lightning, a tree falling on you...
Maybe you should just choose whatever color let's you enjoy the outdoors best and enjoy being out there.

My wife and kids just gave me a blue XLC for an early (EARLY!) birthday present. Planning on hanging Friday night in it! 0* Wooki is next on my list
