    Does Dutch use hyperD fabric?

Like title says. I didn’t see it as an option?

HyperD is made by Ripstopbytheroll. Dutch has his own fabric line.

Dutch's Hexon 1.6 would be most similar to the HyperD 1.6.... I think. I have the Chameleon in Hexon and it feels great to the touch.

I have a Dream Hammock Darien made from Hyper D1.6 and a Dutch Chameleon in Hexon 1.6. Personally, I prefer the feel of the feel of the Hexon 1.6. There is a more soft, cotton feel to the fabric than the Hyper D. The hyper D feels more like nylon in comparison. I've also had an issue wit, what appear to be, stretch marks showing on the HyperD after a few hangs.

I've had the same experience with the hyperD having stretch marks inexplicably appearing in the hammock. I take good care of my equipment and not sure why this fabric has this problem. It's the only hammock I've got with this issue. HyperD was my first hammock material from RBTR so I was very happy with it to begin with. I found that there are more comfortable options out there.

At first I thought it was something I did with the hammock, but two other friends with hammocks made from the same material also have the issue. However, they haven't failed us yet. But like I said, I like the feel of the Hexon better.

Funny how we all perceive things differently. I like the Hexon, but I LOVE the Hyper D! I think it is softer and smoother. HYOH for sure!

same here but I didn't like the hexon at all. I preferred nylonD over the hexon and love the hyperD

I too think that HyperD 1.6 feels softer. I can feel the ripstop more with the Hexon 1.6. My HD hammock is newer to be fair and maybe long term, I will change my stance. We’ll see. Hexon is a fine fabric too though. Don’t get me wrong.
