FYI: Clark Hammock sale heads up NX-270 $239.40

Just got an e-mail from Clark.

    Hi,

Get 40% off factory second NX-270s at the link below. They will
probably be gone today or tomorrow so hurry.

Usually factory seconds are reserved for employees, but because we
are currently moving to a new location, we are opening these up to
    loyal customers.

    Why are these factory seconds?

They are all in perfect condition, but sometimes the wrong color
webbing loop gets sewn on etc. In one case, a black pole sleeve was
sewn on instead of a dark gray sleeve. You probably won't be able to
see the reason it was given factory second status.

Seemed like a pretty good price.

So is this considered a bridge hammock? Almost 3 pounds for this. Can you really go without an underquilt down to 32 like they say?

Definitely not a bridge. It is gathered end, but has the bows to keep the material away from your face and open up the inside of the hammock. The storage pockets underneath are pretty good for storing stuff, however they are extremely optimistic about the temp rating with the lack of underquilt. I have several Clarks hammocks of all types, and have never considered using one without an underquilt.

I got the email and ordered one in about 30 seconds flat. It arrived a few days ago here in the UK.
