Fall MAHHA 2018 dates?

Need to put in for the time off. Did I miss an announcement of when it s going to be? I could guess, but don't want to put in for the wrong weekend.

I don’t know anything officially, but I’m guessing it’s going to be Oct 12, 13, 14. I say this because the group area, and pavilion are reserved for that weekend. Just my guess. There will be an official thread soon hopefully.

So what happens at these things? Just trying to get an idea... hiking? Cooking? Or just mind my own business and if people don't like me, I'll get beat up and gear stolen...? Lol

Seriously tho. I have no clue but some people told me to go to one of these in the introduction thread.

There definitely is a lot of cooking! If you leave hungry, shame on you! There are usually people hiking in to the event, or out afterwards, and a day hike. Plenty of show and tell with gear. It’s a regular hammockpalooza!

As a rule closer to the event there will be a thread with a signup sheet .

MAHHA is what you make it. I haven't been in several years, but I often participated in pre-hikes, post-hikes, or just day hikes. Once hiked the entire state of Maryland (SOBO) as a pre-hike. Another time came from Virginia north. Food is good, and you get to meet vendors as well as people on the forums.
