    CamJams used "backwards"

About two years ago I converted all of my knots and hardware to NiteIze CamJams. At first I tied the guy lines to the tarp and made a loop at the stakes with the CamJams, using them to adjust the tension. Then it occured to me to tie a loop knot on one end of the line and clip the CamJam directly to the tarp. This made setup and take down so much easier. No more lines tied to the tarp to get tangled. When I take down I simply unclip the CamJams from the tarp and roll the lines up. No knots to untie. When I set up, I put the looped end of the line around the stakes, clip the CamJams directly to the tarp and make my adjustments. It's sort of a backwards way of using them, but it makes the setup and takedown so much easier. Does anyone else use them in this sort of backwards way?

Yeah, I don't think there's anything backward about that. Seems like a good idea. I think a lot of people use Dutchware Stingers that way.
