I'd bet that if you used just the strap of the same length as your hugger/whoopie it comes in lighter and eliminates the potential problems of minimum whoopie length in a short hang.Originally Posted by schris6849

My 12' UHMWPE straps with Myerstech Evo Loops (for tree connection) weigh just over 2oz for the bundle. I use a becket hitch to connect to my hammock.
