    Hammocking with my wife

We drove 2 hours away from home to our favorite place. We had a blast! Good time spending in the woods for relaxing, talking and a short time for bass fishing.

First night in my BB and loved it! Very comfortable, but temps dropped to 55 and I got cold back. I was using only a SB and it wasn't enough. Wife was using a warmer one and had no problems. In the middle of the night I put a sun shade inside the SB and it helped a little. We need some underquilts.
Cold weather is coming and in that region (3000 ft above sea level) temps down easily below 30.
    .

The weather was fine when we got there, but at the evening started a light rain till the morning.
I forgot to tie a drip line on the head end (double ended stuff sack and my cap worked fine in the foot end) and the water ran through the zipper. Luckily, it didn't get wet in the fabric

Cool pics. Quality time for sure. +1 on using under quilts. Get one rated to 10 degrees colder than your expected low temp for safety against CBS.

Also highly recommend underquilts, especially for the misses, if ya wanna keep her happy and wanting to keep going out with you!

That's why I gave her a warmer SL.
I'm saving some money for UQs.

    Thank you, mates!

Every night when I go to sleep I think in my next hammock camping...

Nice trip, great photos!! Hard to believe something as simple as a drip line can mean so much but at 2am in a downpour its everything!!!
