for camping gear, i tend to favor high viz like orange (i would hate to be mistaken for a deer during hunting season). another good high viz is yellow, so i vote yellow.

Black is always a safe bet. That's what I'm using for hammocks now and I love it. I may be the boring minority, but it "matches" with everything and blends in nicely with the woods. Not as well as olive or brown, but you have those covered well enough.

I remember the old black blackbird years ago...pretty slick!

But that charcoal gray is just about perfect. I'll likely get one of those someday. I hate to be critical, but the 1.7 fabric is the only thing making me pause. I just don't like it and gave me a ton of calf ridge pressure on the Traveler. Maybe it's different on the other hammocks, but I'm afraid to try.

I don’t know - Henry Ford didn’t need additional colors.

With you 1C. I love my black 1.1 single. Want a Blue Bird but hesitate with 1.7.

Would be cool to see some other fabrics integrated into the lineup but one step at a time.

Gah... I agree. I love my brown XLC, but I would prefer gray. In truth, though, between using the Wooki and a large tarp, the only place I see the hammock fabric is from the inside, and as such, any dark/earth tone is just fine by me.

My perfect tarp, though, would be a Superfly in A-TACS iX...!!

I'd say that most people don't feel that way about the 1.7 fabric, but often when people are having very noticeable calf ridge it is from not having the head low enough and laying too far down toward the foot end. There would also be differences in feel when comparing a 10' hammock to an 11' or a single to a double. A lighter person could feel some pressure in a double layer of a heavier fabric (like a double 1.6/1.7) while not having any issue in a single layer of the same fabric.

You should try an 11' er in a single 1.7, it's my favorite combo currently. As for trying it, we've got a 60-day return policy.

I do like the black, but I think I like the Charcoal a bit better.

I really like the bushwhack camo pattern, can you do a winter variant that's got lots of white? I just like blending in out there....in any season.
