Question about dogs and hammocks

I have been using the same small pup tent (Alcott) as Mfox31 at post #15 for my 40lbs border collie. If the weather is nice and the bugs minimal I simply leave it flat and put the thermarest z-rest pad cut piece that serves as my pack liner on top of the flat tent. All in all she really prefers to lay out and about for most of the camping season (I have passed the age where I desire to winter camp any more). If you try the search option, e.g. "dog camping" you will come up with a number of posts that folks have provided their own useful input to this very question.
