    Newbie Question on Etiquette

    Newbie Question on Etiquette

I'm curious if off-topic questions and conversation is allowed in reference to other equipment and concepts related to hammock camping beyond just the hammocks themselves? Know many here are hikers, backpackers, car campers, 'yakers, etc. Is it kosher to ask what kind of "camping stoves" or such is being used or recommended out there or not? I don't see any actual section listed and being a "newbie," I don't wish to be the troublemaker...I am usually considered!

There is an Off Topic area for donating members. You get access once you donate to the site. Then all of the other gear and other sections are opened up. Hammock related in the main section and other stuff for donating.

Donating memberships are $10 per year and well worth the price of admission.

Sorry, I can't get you entrance into the secret kingdom. I (Arrowhead) unrelated to Hammock Forums and how it runs. But email or "chat" me up at Arrowhead and I am happy to talk about just about any gear/topic. Personal favorites are stoves/camp cooking, fishing, camera gear,....

I just wanted to say how impressive it is to see someone on a message board who ASKS about etiquette prior to posting. Kudos to you, WGoff.

Without question the best $10 I've spent on anything related to hammocks...

(and that's saying something considering the embarrassing amount of competition that meager $10 investment has acquired since I discovered this forum)
