Spider Web 2.0 vs. UHMWPE Huggers

Looking through the strap offerings on Dutch's site, I'm trying to find the differences between the UHMWPE huggers (https://dutchwaregear.com/product/uh...traps-huggers/) and the Spider Web 2.0 huggers (https://dutchwaregear.com/product/sp...traps-huggers/).

For a 7' hugger, the UHMWPE would be 8g heavier, but almost half the cost. Seems like a no-brainer to buy that over the Spider Web 2.0, but I want to be sure I'm not missing something critical.

I’ve talked to Dutch and also to his great staff.
They helped me differentiate between similar products. First study website and notice weights and other descriptions.
They will help, they know their products. I was unsure after viewing website.
    Got what I ordered.

We have the Spider Webbing specially woven for us and it has a tighter weave and it is about 20 percent lighter. The White UHWMPE is mass produced and that is why we can offer it at such a great price.

I noticed you have some warnings in the description about using the Spider Web 2.0 with buckles and cinches. I'm looking to have a tree strap with the fixed (closed loop) end attached directly to the fixed end on a whoopie sling or UCR, and then use an Adutchable Clip to get just enough strap around the tree. This means the Adutchable Clip would need to lock in "on the bight", not on the fixed end. Is this a bad idea with Spider Webbing (or in general) ? The motivation is dealing with close spaced smaller trees - I occasionally have to wrap my huggers around a tree more than once to shorten them up enough to have room for my Whoopies - and getting a chance to play with some ultralight straps. (I'll probably get another set of Beetle Buckles because they solve this problem quite nicely, but I'm still having too much fun splicing AmSteel to not think about trying this)

I had this same dilemma with needing to consume some of the webbing length and moved to using the Marlinspike hitch. I just run my webbing around the tree and back through itself then I pretty much always put the MSH as close to the tree as I can get it then throw my UCR over the MSH knot and I'm good to go.

This, and also daisy chains will require some sort of carabiners, either nano biners at about 40g/pair or Dutch biners (if they'll work with daisies... probably, but I'm not sure) at 18g/pair. Or maybe Whoopie Hooks on hammock CL will work?
