Wondering if a few of y’all could give your experience/impressions of the Lite Owl Hammock. I have several quilts of Marty’s and the Lite Owl has my eye right now. Looking for personal experience, likes/dislikes, etc. Thanks guys! (And gals)

I have 2 WB Blackbirds and several Dutch netless hammocks but, by far my favorite hammock is my Lite Owl.
I am 5'10" and 245#. The Lite Owl consistently provides me a flat lay and a comfortable sleep. Your own comfort might vary. What will not vary, the WL products are consistently consistent. The stitching is perfect.
I have gear from dozen's of cottage vendors but I am happiest with my Winderness Logics purchase.

Love it. I also have a WBXLC and when I got without a net, it’s almost always my Lite Owl.
Thanks for the input guys. There is a Night Owl in the FS section, and I have a PM to a guy who recently had a Lite Owl for sale and took it down. If he doesn’t want to sell it I’m thinking about the NO pretty seriously, but I think the LOnwould suit me better.

Another quick question... what about the wider version? I’m only 5’9”, but typically like a 62” hammock. Haven’t tried a 58” one in a while. Should I give the narrower one a try, or go for the wider version and let the knotty mod take up the slack?

I really like the small packed size and weight of my Lite Owl. I have not handled the Night Owl so I can't provide a realative comparison but, 1.5 oz x double layer would be noticeably larger/heavier.
The 1.0 oz fabric has just the right amount of give for my taste. Heavier fabrics occasionally feel hard in my experience.
You could give Marty an WL a call. He was very accomodating when I was choosing my Winderless Logics Lite Owl.

I just purchased a gently used Lite Owl! My first WL hammock!

So far I'm very impressed with this used lite owl. No calf ridge, gentle stretch, and haven't had to tinker with it to get it strung up right. This is my first knotty mod hammock and I had no idea it made so much difference. I'll be adding that to a DIY hammock I have now. I like this so much I've picked up a used Night Owl, that will be a great extra and loaner for sure! I now need to pick up a good bug net for this thing!

Glad it’s working out Peppy. And I agree on the knotty mod.
