    Another Chameleon Clone

I used Kitsapcowboy's post on making this hammock, double layer, 1.6 Hyper D XL .... coyote brown/dark olive (outside/inside), 138" x 68" , removable bug net with Dutches Chameleon zippers

I added a pair of saddle bags, which I think may be handy.

    End detail

Looking forward to giving it a spin next week.

First time I've noticed "accents" like that on the end of the fixed part of the bugnet hem - those are pretty sweet. Might just have to copy that when I get around to making my almost-a-Chameleon-clone (I guess starting with a Dutch 11' Netless might be considered cheating, but I'm doing it anyway).

That looks great! Nice LONG saddle bags! I’d be interested in a more detailed tour!

    Love the saddlebags, nice work!
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

I like those saddlebags. Are they accessible from inside the hammock -- or would you need to open the net to access them? It's tough to tell from the photos...

Yup, the saddle bags are accessible from inside the hammock ... posting photos can quickly get to overload, so I just posted a few.

There are also gear loops inside at each end where the hammock gathers .... I have a trip in a week or so, I will decide after that if I will make any more changes ... this is my first hammock and being able to add and subtract features is a novelty that is a bit addictive.

Very nice job there. I don't see a double line of zipper on the saddle bag side. Id like to see more info on that.
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

BigE .... there isn't a double zipper, I will try and haul it out tomorrow and do a few pics, it's a double layer hammock and I just transitioned to the outside of saddle bag at the start point and transitioned back in to the hammock at the end. If I remove the bug net, the bags are still there and fully functional.
