Can anyone tell from his pictures what exactly he used to stabilize the bar? With the current pandemic lockdown, I'm not sure which vendors I can get tree straps or huggers or Amsteel from. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use mule tape or any wide straps that don’t stretch to wrap around the base of the tree. You can probably bypass the straps and just peg it to the ground with a sturdy stake.

I use a amsteel to connect the spreader bar to the base. Again, any cordage that don’t stretch will work — do you have spare Zing-it?
