    Simply Light Designs 12FT Winterhaven

Finally after a month of owing I got to do some solo testing of my new tarp. Previously I was using a Hennessy Hex which did the job but I was looking for a great 4 season tarp. This tarp by Jared exceeds all my expectations and his craftsmanship shows in every little stich. Thanks Jared for my great tarp, and I'm loving the Silpoly Gen 2 fabric. It kept me perfectly dry last night and dried off super quickly before packing up.

I was just looking at these same photos of your fine tarp in another of your posts, and I recognized it as an SLD.

Jared certainly makes some fine weather protection, and I'm a big fan of Simply Light Designs.

    Looks great. Enjoy!

Hey DannyRosa, great looking tarp! Do you happen to know its weight?

Not off hand but when I get a chance I'll try to weight it. I know off my holding something in two hands it weighs less then my hennessy hex lol.

Nice, I have this same tarp in a different material and really like it. Congrats on the new equipment.

Wow Such a Great Trap and Design very Impressive. But I wonder this thing might be quite time-consuming, isn't it?

Great looking rig! I've got a WH 12 that Jared made for me a couple years ago. I've got lots of SLD gear and I've always been blown away on how fast he turns orders around.

Well i find setting up camp fun. But it's not really that bad with the right gear. I have it set up with a continuous ridge line from Dutchware which is super quick to set up. The hammockgear one piece tarp sleeve is a quick set up and putaway aswell. Then it's just the guy line which yet again I have dutchware hookworms and the doors have shock cord with mitten hooks. The pole mod is just an added luxury but yet again takes not even 30 seconds to setup. Honestly other then dialing in my hangle cause the trees were pretty far apart it took less then 10 minutes if that for everything hammock and all.

Finally got around weighing it. Now this is with my Dutch CRL with the wasp on one end. And I have a hammock gear 1 piece mesh sleeve. It comes out to 22 ounces.

Well that's not bad. My 11ft silny Superfly weighs 17oz without hardware.
