    So much down goodness!

Got my budget winter top and underquilt today! Ordered last Wednesday and it came to my door today. Got super excited and did a test run in my basement. Going to elk neck state park tonight so it came just in time for a real world test. But I have no doubts it will be an amazing night of sleep. The quality and craftsmanship is amazing, Marty does a fantastic job. I wish i would have bought them sooner. The suspension is super easy to dial in and the shock cord actually fits in my quilt hooks unlike my other underquilt. I'll update my review after this weekend when I get back home Sunday.

They are rated for 20 degrees. But his quilts are a mix of duck and goose. So I'm sure they are going to perform great. I bought these for the wife but they will act as my winter gear now too. But just feeling them I might give her my hammock gear set lol. I really like the fleece on the top quilt it's a nice touch.

I was on the fence about the brown but I really like the way they turned out.

Looks toasty warm! I've got 6 nights on my budget underquilt so far, and going out again this weekend. I've got my eyes on the budget winter king topquilt next!

Got more pics and field testing. After 2 nights of hanging in Elk Neck, Maryland I can easily say these quilts are amazing. The temps didn't get too low at all 45 and 48 both nights. The top quilt is the king size and I was a little worried only being 5'11 and 200lbs. But the quilt was great to be able to spread out and curl up if need. The underquilt barely shifted the primary suspension was spot on all night. All I can say is I'm excited to buy more gear in the future from Marty. And we had a great time fishing for catfish.
