I like mezcal. It's a strong taste and I rarely have to share with anyone!

Nay hammock yet (on order though, shipping today from Little Shop of Hammocks). Whisky is the gear in the woods, though, so I'll be going that way. Blair Athol, if I have me druthers, but any will do. Coffee, tea, lemon-lime Gatorade, water through the Katadyn - it all tastes better outside.

I'll happily have a beer if someone else carried it!

Lagavulin here. A little pricey perhaps, but a bottle lasts me a long time, and there’s nothing better on the trail! It’s like sipping a campfire, in a very good way!

I'll look into that, I almost bought a Stanley the other day but I didn't like the bulk. Thanks for sharing

^^^^ I use a re-purposed baby foot squeeze container as my flask. Just the right amount for solo.

Vodka works as a multifunction beverage....Libation, antiseptic, antibacterial, fire starter, solvent, and much much more! Doesn't taste as good as whisky or scotch however. Ironically, the best vodkas have no flavor at all. Also gives no hangover if it is a top tier brand like Tito's, Grey Goose, Belvedere, Skyy, Ketel One, Stolichnaya, Absolut, and others.

Irish Whisky works well to make another popular drink....added to coffee for instant Irish Coffee (minus the creme de menthe and whipped cream).

Whiskey is my go-to. From a flask. I can be talked into just about anything, though!

When winter camping I find a little nip helps me keep warm. No lectures! I know it's an illusion, but it's MY illusion!

Much of the time I'm with Scouts, though. So, my night time drink is often a little herbal tea, sadly.
