    Nippin' from the hammock...

What's your favorite adult beverage to enjoy suspended in the trees?
I've been a long time fan of a little Eagle Rare straight from my fosters pot, and maybe a lil apple cider mixed in after my dinner.
I might try something different this weekend if y'all can talk me into it.

I'm a fan of Evan Williams Bottled in Bond straight from the flask. Four Roses Small Batch is another favorite of mine.

Hopped cider for breakfast, fireball and cider if it's too cold for beers/cider, or any NEIPA.

I'm a big fan of cider in the hammock, whether is a dry english, or west coast canadian sweeter variety. there's basically no such thing as bad cider

I also really like taking a premixed margarita type concoction, but they always taste like more, and that's not always the best idea

    I'll go for a little Basil Hayden's.
"If we lose the forests, we lose our only instructors. People must see these forests and wilderness as the greatest educational system that we have on the planet. If we lose all the universities in the world, then we would lose nothing. But If we lose the forests, we lose everything." -- Bill Mollison

Oh man, there's too much out there to choose just one! I certainly wouldn't take anything that isn't straight liquor with me though, much too inefficient from a weight perspective

I'm definitely more partial to scotch than bourbon. New oak + corn is just a little too sweet for me most of the time. I'm also a big fan of Irish whiskey as a very friendly drink.

On the trail I'll put a few ounces in my handy Vapur Flask. It weighs just 10g/0.35oz and does a fantastic job of transporting whiskeys. https://smile.amazon.com/Vapur-40026...-no-redirect=1

I also bring along a tulip shaped glass for a better nosing experience. Saves me from having lug around one of my glencairns. Weighs a hefty 47g/1.6oz, but I think it's worth it. In the future I might chop off the stem and just carry the bowl, but I haven't gotten there yet. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
