    Chill gorilla sleeve

Hi. I don’t know if this is where I should post this so please move if I’m wrong. I just used this chill gorilla hammock sleeve for the first time. I am very happy with it so far. I was able to fit my Warbonnet ridge runner with bug net, spin drift (new style) and Ridgecreek XL 3 season in it. It was a little snug but I’m very happy with it. It really speeds up setting it up and pack up camp. Very happy so far. Time will tell on the durability.EC19CB4C-C56B-46C8-ACB5-18F588D544DC.jpg

I can see where that would be a big time saver setting up and taking down!

As long as your post is based on a product review that mean you are posting in correct section.

Do you have a photo with ridgerunner, spindrift and underquilt in the sleeve?

Is this : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 the one you have ? I've been using both of them on my 12' Chill Gorilla Hex, but just got a Ridgerunner as well. Is it the longer or shorter sleeve that's in the pic? I'd love to keep the longer one on my tarp and use the small one with the RR with my Snugpak Jungle Blanket UQ & TQ inside as well. It's a great piece of gear isn't it? Well made and seems super durable.

Hey Chesapeake, keep me posted on this one. If it works for the WBRR with an UQ (AHE 3 season) I'll snap one up!

What did you pay out of curiousity? I ask because I just made a DIY from window sheer material from walmart for $5 but it is a bit heavier than I expected

It really does help speed up set up and take down time. I used a diy version for a while but have since moved to just using a small piece of shock cord wrapped around the middle to hold everything in place, and then stuff the entire set up, hammock, underquilt, top quilt, pillow and winter sock into a compression sack that I sewed a buttonhole on one end to pass the continuous loop through, making it more or less at Bishop bag. Works great,
By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...
