2018 MAHA

Drove 10 hours up and 10 hours back but I finally made it to a MAHA Hang. Been back home a couple of hours but even after a long shower it still feels like I am in the car driving

. Of course I thought this was supposed to be a Spring hang so I was a little surprised by being greeted by falling snow when I got to the group site Thursday afternoon. Saw some old friends and hopefully made a few new ones. Have lots of pictures to go thru and need to write a more detailed report.

Thanks to everyone for making this possible and a fun time! This was my first group hang but not my last! Although I think Maggie made more friends

Being my first MAHHA and group hang, I had a wonderful time and met many great people. Can’t wait to see everyone in the fall!

Gunner76, It's was a pleasure to meet you and call you friend as well, glad you made it home safe. To Everyone I met at MAHHA thank you for being so friendly and inviting. Wherever I went people where very kind and more then willing to explain there set-ups and show them off to you. The Hammock community in this nature is what really sets us apart from other groups. So thank you for it. BIG THANK YOU to the vendors who donated gear this year and events before. I got to meet some of the people I admire very much who are in this business. Putting faces to these brands only makes it that much more personal. SO Thank you once again JacksRBetter, Hammock Gear, Loco Libre , Ripstop , Simply Light Designs, Wilderness Logics , 2QZQ, One Beautiful Saw from Wild Cherry Woodworks, and more that I just can not remember off the top of my head.....O yeah of course DutchWare gear from the Dutch Himself In all his Cheeseburger Glory, I know there is picture's to come but need to prepare those who have not seen him and his Hammock, It's a site to behold. I'm glad you got a pic of that ocean tarp. My inner jellyfish is just proud as can be about being represented.

Sammy and I made it back to Maine! That was a long day! Just a wonderful time in PA. Thank you all. More later and pictures. I'm going to bed...
