Introducing the new 2018 Warbonnet Eldorado

So it's sort of a re-introduction really. Many of you may not know, but the original Eldorado actually pre-dates the original Blackbird. We have decided to re-introduce it with a few updates.

We're hoping to have the order page up tomorrow. But as far as specs go, It shaves about 1/4 pound off the weight of the comparable XLC. Prices are still being ironed out but the single layer with bugnet and continuous loops has been set at $125.

It doesn't say in the video, but the body is 11' if anybody is wondering that.

That looks pretty sweet! So it's basically a BBXLC without the shelf, correct?

Absolutely, It basically gets you into the XLC modular system at a lower price point. We made it for people either looking to save weight or for new hangers who are overwhelmed with needing to buy a hammock, UQ, and tarp all at once, but still want a modular hammock that can be added onto later.

That’s actually not bad. I tried the XLC and one of my primary concerns was I didn’t like how it made it awkward to exit from that side.

That is a simple, but kind of brilliant way to get two uses out of a stuff sack. The ridgeline organizer looks super easy to use. Well done.
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!

Thanks, I'm glad you like that part, and it does seem to work really well. I was thinking I was the first one to come up with that, but I didn't want to claim that because it is just so darn simple that I figured there was a good chance somebody had done it before... then today I see a picture of somebody's Townsend bridge hammock and it looks like they are doing something very similar with a more elongated stuffsac.

I think we will call it a Ridgeline Stuffsac.

It’s fantastic bringing back the old name. I’m sure some folks on here remember when the original first came out.

Can’t wait to try one of these.

    Are the specs out yet?

Watching that video just feels like breathing rarefied air. What a capture of hammock lore!

The El Dorado looks like a great one.

The obvious question is, can just the net be ordered to retrofit an XLC and will there be an equivalent winter cover?
