ViDEO: Double-Ended Stuff Sack or BlackBishop Bag?

Double-Ended Stuff Sacks or BlackBishop Bag? Not sure everyone knows the difference and how they function.
    What is your preference?
I always prefer the BlackBishop bag as it was one of my first DIY projects and just love how I can roll my hammock up in it easily and have a nice place to stash some gear like a light down jacket and tarp stakes and bits and bobs.
Easier for me to hang the hammock too. Maybe just in my hammock DNA.

They really have been, and now this one has me thinking....my hammock is in a side pocket bag that came attached. However now I really like the double ended sack. Might have to pull out a sewing machine....

I over-complicate many things, but this is one I haven't touched. Mine all came with double-sided stuff sacks, but I still only use one side.

Either way, I like some wiggle room. I'm tired of jamming gear into perfectly-sized bags...some on par with trying to repack an artificial Christmas tree back into its box. So Dutch, thank you for sizing the bags appropriately. No struggle necessary!

I stopped using the double-ended stuff sack. I don't like reinstalling the UQ, secondary suspension, and UQP everyday.

I changed to the SLD Catch-All Sack and I have never regretted it.

I don't keep the TQ in it. Just the UQ.

I throw it in the closet then redeploy when I want to sleep outside.

I believe the pic above did include a TQ (Hudson River Quilt). I tried it but I prefer to leave it out.

Black Bishop Bag for the win!

Years ago I tried a huge BB bag for everything but too many tangles (UQ suspension and hammock suspension) on the trail. Drove me batty.
I like all stuffed and re-engineered separately.
    Anal that way.

That is my issue. I have a slight bit of old Arthur in my fingers and stuffing something into a tinybag is not the easiest thing in the world on my hands. I hate the attached stuff sack on my hammocks
