I have received many requests for this video. Here it is! Hammock Comparison, the Dream Hammock Sparrow vs the Dutchware Gear Chameleon vs the Warbonnet Blackbird XLC. Which one did we prefer? How do they stack up?

Use the Gear sling for extra storage, Spiguyver, that's a great option on the sparrow, or works with other hammocks as well.
Impossible exercise.
Hammock comfort is like comedy and food...it's all subjective to the individual.
EDIT: I remember when I 1st got the XLC...the first couple of nights were not comfortable because I had it setup wrong. Same thing when I was on Cheoah Bald recently ...tired from the hike & getting dark so I just threw it up quickly and then I was out in the rain in the middle of the night trying to get the lay just right.
I never got it right.

"...in Florida, she felt air conditioning for the first time, and it was cold and unnatural upon her skin."
thanks for sharing the video, it's good to hear other perspectives on the different hammocks out there. as a die-hard warbonnet fan, i'll have to give Dream hammocks another good look. if it's that much more comfortable than the XLC, maybe my wife won't be so hesitant to go hammock camping since she finds the XLC so uncomfortable.
True, to each their own. Spiguyver did say that fans of their respective brands could still support their own.. It is true that hanging the foot end higher is necessary for the sweet spot in a WBBB XLC, so more fiddle factor. I don't own a WBBB so I just go by reviews of them. I do love my Sparrow, however, and DH makes awesome hammocks. I also recently ordered the darien for a lighter rig. If i had more $$$ I'd buy all of them like SHUG, but SHUG doesn't pay for his gear; he gets gear at no charge in exchange for his reviews on Youtube.
btw what's the phone holder each of you guys are using on the ridgeline?
How would you know that? Don't assume you know all about me.
I pay for a lot of my gear but yes some I get in trade for the time to evaluate the gear and give a video review. Good being me sometimes.
Maybe you should start a You Tube channel and put in the time to review, shoot, edit and answer.

Whooooo Buddy)))) All Secure in Sector Seven
Sorry Shug, no offense intended. I am grateful for your reviews, and truly find them to be a service to the hanging community. You deserve whatever gear the cottage industry sends your way, and more. Keep secure in sector 7.
