Chameleon regular or wide?

What’s the width difference between the reg and wide chameleon? Do different fabrics have different widths also?

I’m pretty sure reg is 58” and wide is 70”.

2” are usually lost on the rolled hem along the long edges. Yes some fabrics are different widths, but that’s the exception, not the rule. Usually it’s 5’ for reg and 6’ for the “XL” or wide versions.

The wide only comes in Hexon 1.6

Thanks for the reply’s. What is the finished width of the regular? Again is it dependant on material chosen?

All the regulars come in at around 57", the material is about 60" uncut.

Did you ever order one? I got a wide in coyote brown and found it to be a little too wide. I'll be selling mine soon once my regular width shows up.

How tall are you? What made it "too wide"?

I'm 6', and liking my Wide although I haven't tried sleeping in it yet. I did try sleeping with a pad in a 11' Dutchware Netless (regular width) and ended up fairly frustrated - although that may have been more about the pad slipping than the hammock width.

I think all the excess fabric around my head. I lay head left, and I had a huge wall on my right side which wasn't bad. But with the pullouts on my head theres still a bit of fabric that keeps shifting my underquilt a little. It wasn't anything bad at all I still love it. But i layed in my wife's netless and it seemed to be the same lay and comfort. So I ordered just the chameleon body and I'm going to test both and see which I like more and sell the other one. I'm 6 foot 200lbs.
