    Advice on underquilt

I’m curious if anyone has any advice on choosing between wb yeti and hg Phoenix. I do have an xlc so the yeti makes sense, but I love my current Phoenix (40°) need a new (20°) underquilt. Anybody have any experience with both, and possibly how a yeti may or may not work on hammocks other than the xlc? I do have multiple hammocks as well and like my gear to be interchangeable if possible. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if there is any real difference in how either quilt would perform on your XLC. And either quilt should work fine on your other hammocks. That said, I personally prefer the size of the Phoenix over the Yeti.

The unique shape and biased hang of the XLC seem to favor relatively narrow underquilts (about 45" or less) for a good fit, in my experience.

Phoenix is longer than yeti. If weight is your ultimate, the yeti. If you want a bit more comfort for a little more weight, get the Phoenix.

Personally Id go with a Phoenix for a partial length UQ.
