Come one, Come All to the Official NEHHA Fall Hang in the beautiful DAR State Forest.

We have the group site there again. This is a lovely private site with lots of tree pairs and it is quiet and removed from everything. Bring your kids, as there is tons to do here. We are a very friendly bunch so if you have never been to a hang don't worry, you will be welcomed warmly. Even if you are a solo woman, don't worry, there are many of us women at the hang and we are encouraging more women to join us!

What to expect:

DAR has many wonderful hiking trails that we can access right from the campsite. There is a lovely lake in the park for boating and fishing (MA fishing license required). All trails are fabulous for mountain biking.

You can drive into the site.

There will be a large fire for hanging around and keeping warm beverages going. There will be a VERY large tarp to stand under and set up cooking gear in the event of rain. (thanks to Raiffnuke and Nighthauk). But still bring your own tarps/ez up shelters if you want for protection from the elements and more room.

We will have a potluck Saturday night. We may have a raffle. There will be hikes and I will look into getting other activities that may be offered by attendees.

There is no running water at the site but there is a very clean, large, and easy to access non smelly composting toilet at the site.

What to bring:

WATER!!! LOTS of it!! Since there is no water in the park at this time we need to bring our own water, bring enough for your drinking and kitchen needs.

Kitchen gear/tables etc for your cooking needs

Games if so inclined. I have bocce and croquet.

Boats, bikes etc.

FOOD!!! LOTS of yummy FOOD!!

COST: not sure yet, I have to figure that out but I will get back to you. Depends on how many people show up and how much wood we need. May be up to $20.00 but probably not that much.

hahahahaha. I’m voting for Disney just as much as they are. buuuut. It all comes down to buying a home. If we get a house. We have play room this tear for Disney. Then I’m going to need a small vacation from work and hanging I like.
