    I just ordered a bunch of amsteel and would be willing to teach soft shacle splicing if anyone is interested.

    anyone able to teach how to make whoopie slings? I think my girls will need them for their hammocks. what do you guys use the soft shackles for? Enquiring minds want to know.

    I'm delighted you will be taking part. Bring any splicing tools you have.

    Each Soft Shackle takes 36 inches of 7/64 Amsteel. I have about 50 feet available but it would be great if anyone who wanted to try this bring some to use.

    I use them to attach my whoopie slings to my tree straps and just about anything that would normally have a carabiner. I do use a biner to attach my whoopies to my continuous loops but only for a water break.

    I'm sure I have some amsteel somewhere, I'll make a note to find it before the hang.
