My new suspension setup. Dyneema Poly Straps, Cinch Bugs, and Hammock Fan Tree Anchors

I was in need of new tree straps and wanted to clean up my suspension so I ended up doing some splicing tonight and spliced continuous loops onto the tree end of my new dyneema/poly tree straps from Dutch. These attach to my Hammock Fan Tree Anchors which I absolutely love! They work like a Dutch Clip or carabiner but are just a bit of a different setup.

On the hammock end I'm using Dutchware Cinch Bugs.

Hammock Fan Tree Anchors... those are neat. I'm not a hardware user, but that's a clean setup

I use Phantom Grappler's Grappler Hitch.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I really like this setup. That is some new hardware that I haven't seen before.

How is this setup working for you?

I've had this setup out a few times so far and I really enjoy it. It goes up easily and does the job. I have some Hammock Fan Hammock Anchors on order to go with the Tree Anchors so I will be tinkering with those once they arrive. I'm going with Dutch Spider Tree huggers to use with them so this will be a very light setup.

Here is a video of them.

Looks like a nice setup. I'm about to splurge for spider 2.0 straps from dutch...I'm only bummed out that hardware (e.g., cinch bugs or beetle buckles) are not recommended for use with the ultralight spider 2.0 straps.
