Have a great trip! Very jealous. I have done both ends but never the middle.

Have a great trip, can't wait to hear about it! It looks like the fires may be cooperating with you, I hope that continues to be the case.

Am on schedule and taking a ZERO day at Mt. Williamson Motel & Basecamp in Independence, CA. The JMT is a tough, grueling footpath.

Have had no problem finding places to hang so far. Spent one night on ground by Evolution Lake by choice.

Scheduled to finish on Friday at Whitney Portal/Lone Pine.

I am reliving my experience through you.
Rae Lakes. Caught a few fish there. A ranger gave me fresh fruit the morning that I left.
Forester Pass. Where I learned 'to breathe' and 'not to stop so many times'.
    I collect vintage camp stoves.
    I roast coffee at home.
