Might be a stupid question, but will you be offering custom print? Where the customer can take a picture, send it to you, and that's what you make the product out of?

I play roller derby and as soon as I saw this, I thought "I MUST HAVE A HAMMOCK WITH SKATES ON IT!"

I've been holding off on buying a chameleon because money (bought my partner one for her birthday instead) and I don't actually *need* one right now - I'm perfectly happy and content in my WBB. But I swear, if I can get a roller derby hammock, I'm gonna lose my restraint lol.

Not sure about hammocks, but you can surely ask him.

NB: While Dutch has proven that digital printing on waterproof outdoor fabric to create what is basically a tarp-sized photograph is not only possible but also really cool, it is important to consider that not all of your candid digital photographs are going to be suitable to repurpose for such prints. Most designers consider approximately 150DPI the minimum useful output resolution for a source file for this kind of digital printing, with 300DPI being more desirable. To print an image 144" (12 feet wide) at that minimum resolution so that it looks the way you'd expect close-up, your source image should be approximately 21600 x 16200 pixels. That requires a 350 megapixel camera! Now, in practice, there are a lot of tricks in computational graphics that can be used on a photo of lower resolution to look good and keep it from "blobbing out" -- which I'm sure is what Dutch is doing with his source images to get such impressive output -- but suffice it to say that the process places some significant demands on the quality of your source image in order for you to create a satisfactory custom print on DWG fabrics. I'm sure Dutch and his crew will have more to say on this if/when custom customer image submissions come to pass...

None of this mundane minutia takes away one iota from how exciting and welcome an addition Print2Fabric is to the Dutchware Gear product line.

Dutch is ahead of technology with regards to custom photo tarps. Even my Iphone 7 only has 12 MP main camera. I guess this means for now we are limited to prints from the existing Print2fabric gallery on Dutchwarewgear.com

I'm sure there's a way with more common high-resolution source images, and right now it sounds like custom image submissions are still only speculation, but I just thought it useful to suggest that the bigger and better those images are, the better the printed result will be -- especially up close. Purpose-built printed fabric patterns on this material will be highly detailed and have high fidelity with a minimum of "noise" in the image compared to even the best photograph.

    Regardless, exciting times.

    NOOOOOO!

    Not the socks!

Now I'm going to be having horrifying nightmares of a grown man wearing kneehigh stockings in a hamburger print.

Forget the money I spend on Dutchware Gear, my wife is going to be upset at all the money I need to spend on therapy.

Would someone please put some crime tape around Dutch's closet. Should these videos have warnings or disclaimers?

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
