I plan to make a hammock chair, that should be a pack cover and gear sling too. I will choose a waterproof fabric.
My question is, if 1.1 xenon sil is a good choice for this purpose, if its strong enough for a hammock chair.
Thanks

depends on how much you weigh. I would crush a chair like that personally. YMMV. I own a Helinox Chair One that supports up to 320 lbs and weighs just under 2 lbs. For a hammock chair, similar to what Dutch sells on his site, you could use Dutchware Gear Hexon 1.6, or try RSBTR Robic 1.7, but that wouldn't be waterproof like the Xenon 1.1

Dutch helped me and answered my question in another thread. The fabric I bought is sil nylon from his site. If anybody would be interested in the future.
Yeah I think he said that the ripstop is definitely the fabric of choice.... at least with the T's chair he sells on his site, other lighter fabrics let your butt slide out of place or something.
